If your project involves using any form of active sonar or detonating UneXploded Ordnance (UXO), it is probable that, at minimum, the use of Marine Mammal Observers (MMOs) is required. Acoustic Deterrent Devices (ADDs) may also be stipulated, as may the use of Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM). In addition, OSC offers Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) services including high-quality underwater inspections and professional post-survey analysis of footage.
OSC staff have been cleared to work on sensitive projects by several military institutions. As industry scientists, we are discrete, independent, not aligned with any Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), and, importantly, know how to keep our heads down (as our Defence testimonials attest).
